Gerd Pfanstiel (born 1956 in Thuringia) has been dedicating himself to painting and sculptural creation with great passion for decades. His artistic credo follows the philosophy of Renoir and Delacroix: a work of art must captivate the viewer and be a "feast for the eyes".
The artist lives and works in Thuringia, where he has been undergoing an intensive creative period since the early 1990s.
