Ute Kleist lives and works in the Hanseatic city of Rostock. She is an active member of renowned art associations, including [KUN:ST] International Stuttgart e.V. as well as the Kunstverein Radolfzell e.V.. Style and Themes: Large-format, Expressive and Emotional
In her paintings, Ute Kleist explores emotional tensions, the connection between humanity and nature, and everyday encounters. Her working method shifts dynamically between powerful color compositions and reduced black-and-white works.
Her artworks are characterized by:
- Large-format canvas works: Multi-layered, expressive paint application with a strong tactile quality.
- Expressive abstract style: Dynamic interplay of light, space, and vibrant color pigments.
- Black-and-white reduction: Appealing works in high-contrast shades and nuances.
- Human & Nature: Visualization of emotions, living space, silence, and pulsating energy.
