Untitled – Acrylic painting by Lothar Bergmann (incl. shadow gap frame)

Acrylic and mixed media on canvas | 70 x 50 cm (incl. high-quality frame)

Discover this fascinating original painting by Lothar Bergmann. Contemporary abstract art in classic portrait format – a technically demanding multi-layered work that combines organic-floral elements, sculptural impasto reliefs, and an elegant frame in perfect harmony.

The artwork:

The artwork captivates with an exceptionally delicate, almost sculptural visual language. Through a multi-layered creation process involving brush, palette knife, spray, and glazing techniques, as well as real pigment powder, Bergmann creates an exciting symbiosis of soft color transitions and tactilely prominent textures. In the center, organic, spherical, and bud-like forms float, embraced by dynamically curved color arcs in ocher and delicate sage green. Relief-like, rugged impasto structures evoke bark, moss, or rock formations, lending the painting a tangible three-dimensionality. The color palette elegantly balances soft sage and lime green, warm golden yellow, creamy champagne, delicate rosé, and earthy ocher and terracotta tones.
