Rhymes – Photo Art by Malte Lüdemann

Strictly limited fine art photography (15 copies) | Choice of matte aluminum dibond or glossy acrylic glass | Incl. certificate of authenticity

Discover "Rhymes", a fascinatingly rhythmic piece of contemporary photo art by Hamburg-based photographer Malte Lüdemann. Taken in Hamburg, this shot captures the harmoniously flowing waves of the Elbe river in a graphic-looking structure—a visual poem of movement, order, and maritime light.

The Artwork:

In this precise long-exposure shot, Malte Lüdemann stages the water of the Hamburg Elbe like a geometric soundscape. Parallel, curved wave crests stretch diagonally across the frame, their edges reflecting the soft evening light. The velvety, shimmering texture of the water moves in cool shades of slate, steel, and deep blue, effectively accentuated by the delicate, warm light reflections on the wave peaks. The work captivates with its extraordinary calm and visual balance, lending every room a meditative and structured elegance.
