Tension – Photo Art by Malte Lüdemann

Strictly limited Fine Art photography (15 copies) | Choice of matte Alu-Dibond or glossy acrylic glass | Incl. Certificate of Authenticity

Discover "Tension", an expressive and high-contrast work of contemporary photo art by Hamburg-based photographer Malte Lüdemann. The shot visualizes the fascinating tension between light, movement, and dark depth on the water – a gripping moment full of visual energy and atmospheric density.

The Artwork:

In this dynamic long-exposure shot, Malte Lüdemann divides the water surface into two corresponding zones with an intensely glowing band of light. While the left side of the image is dominated by warm copper and rust tones with horizontal motion blurs, the right half reveals cool, finely structured waves in deep slate gray and anthracite. In the center, the low-hanging sun breaks through as a vertical path of pure gold, sparkling amber, and flaming red-orange. This electrifying interplay between warm light dynamics and cool water textures gives the artwork a palpable, eponymous tension and extraordinary spatial depth.
