Transmission

Transmission – Fine Art Photography by Malte Lüdemann

Strictly limited Fine Art photography (15 copies) | Available on matte Alu-Dibond or glossy acrylic glass | Incl. Certificate of Authenticity

Discover a fascinating work of contemporary photography with "Transmission" by Hamburg-based photographer Malte Lüdemann. The shot was taken in Hamburg and visualizes the transfer of light and energy on the waves of the Elbe—a fluid transition between warming afterglow and cool depth.

The Artwork:

In this subtle long-exposure shot, a curved wave edge divides the Hamburg Elbe into two contrasting spheres of color and light. In the upper section, the water shines in soft, light nuances of champagne, gold, and delicate rose gold, with fine streaks appearing like shimmering silk threads. Towards the bottom, the motif breaks powerfully into a velvety, deep night and indigo blue. Through the precise dynamics of the shot, Lüdemann captures the exact moment in which the light energy of the sky transfers to the flowing water ("Transmission")—an elegant, minimalist composition of meditative calm and visual depth.
